This is my favorite so far, it comes with a complete starter set so you don't need to buy anything else (except for the fishies!)

Penn Plax Betta Fish Tank Aquarium Kit With LED Light and Internal Filter Desktop Size, 1.5 Gallon

This one gets great reviews and is less expensive than some of the others (it's about $35). I may go this route but I'm gravitating towards one that can have a plant as well.

Tetra LED Half Moon Betta Aquarium, 4.6 x 9.1 x 9.9 Inches

Here is another inexpensive option that I thought was quite, get's good reviews and costs under $50. Alos, LED lights are a plus.

AquaTunes 3.5 Gallon Fish Aquarium Sleep Sound Machine

This one get's the highest reviews of all of the small fishtanks I researched. It includes an MP3 player with "nature sounds". That sounds a little weird to me and the look isn't quite as cool in my eye so I probably wont be getting this one, just wanted to share as everyone seems to love it.
